The Learning Map is an online resource and
a personal tutoring program. We support teachers, parents and students with learning
at home through individualized learning activities and tutoring programs for ages pre-k through 6th grade.

About Hailey
I started “teaching” when I was 7 years old. My first
teaching venture was making my sister memorize short children’s books to recite
to my parents. I have come a long way
since then- thankfully. I attended
public school in the Bay Area where I had many great and influential learning
experiences. When selecting my major at
Brigham Young University, the lesson planning third grader within me found her
calling. I earned my Bachelor’s degree
in Elementary Education with an Emphasis in Early childhood, and a minor in
teaching English as a second language.
My teaching education included practicum, student teaching and
substitute teaching in Preschool, Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, 5th &
6th grade.
I have worked with home school and public or private school
families since 2010 when I started The Learning Map tutoring program. The Learning Map is my opportunity to assist
parents and students to navigate each child’s course to successful education. My goal is to empower each child to receive
the skills and experiences necessary to succeed in school as well as life. I view learning as fun, meaningful and
centered on the needs of each individual child.
